Mobile mike was fantastic was fantastic he helped me out massively yesterday. Was struggling to remove a stubborn bolt and called mobile mike he came down did the bolt removal and then stayed and helped when was filling up gearbox oil. Replaced starter motor for me when it broke then due to work from something else it blew again. Wasn’t his fault but replaced for no charge at all. Had a roadside recovery after that with my van and he sent me to a garage as he said it would be done quicker and cheaper than him doing it. He turned the work away and found me a better altercation to him. If you think there’s a stereotype about mechanics wanting to rip you off he’s 100% not one of them. Great service good price good to chat to. Make sure you boil the kettle before he arrives. He likes a coffee.

Due to heavy work commitments on both sides, Mike and I struggled to find a date whereby he could carry out work to my vehicle. We arranged the date - Forecast shows heavy snow. ❄️🙄....I message Mike and say I do not expect him to come. However he says he will do his best to de there regardless of the weather. Thankfully by the time he arrives, the snow has mostly melted. It is still extremely cold and he is wet through from previous jobs with not a dry pair of gloves, out of at least 3 pairs. Mike fitted my car in quickly when the boot wouldn't open. He was able to get it opened and fix the wiring that had snapped ,in a short time ,and thankfully my boot is working perfectly now. Mike recently serviced my BMW116D and my son’s Suzuki Swift. All I can say is - Absolutely fantastic! He turned up at our house on time and worked on the cars on our drive. He gave both cars a full service, replacing all the filters and the oil and also programming the service computer on the BMW. He was extremely courteous and took away all the old parts, oil and rubbish. Best of all I didn’t have to move from the house. My daughter who has mobility problems and is at university in Cardiff had problems with her car. We live in Cornwall and the difficulty of her leaving her car with a normal garage and getting back to her accommodation without help was a problem, I therefore decided to contact a mobile mechanic namely Mike. Not only did he offer tremendous value for money but he turned up at the time agreed and fixed the problem, he even deducted the price of a part that he first thought he would need to replace and only replaced the components that were needed a rare case of honesty in my opinion as neither my daughter nor myself would have been any the wiser had he just charged for it. I will definitely use Mike again should my daughter’s car need anything repairing in the future. And would highly recommend other’s using him.

Blown away by this service. As a self employed business owner myself, I really appreciated Mike's extra efforts to go out of his way to get my trucks (yes, trucks...both went down in the same week😭) back on the road as soon as he possibly could.He correctly located and diagnosed the problem with our Iveco Daily 3.5tonne tipper and although he was unable to undertake such a large job himself, (required dropping the whole engine) we were able to get it in to my usual garage with no messing about, knowing the works required from the outset.After waiting weeks sometimes to even get a diagnosis...I can't tell you how much this reduced stress.We were able to carry on work with our second vehicle a 4x4 pickup, only for it to break down on a clients drive 🤦🏻♂️Mike dropped everything to come out to the job site, again diagnosing the problem within minutes, helping us get it started and sorting the problem fully (replacing the starting motor within the hour!) only days later.He was friendly, fast, hard working, open and honest about the situation every step of the way.Outstanding work ethic and customer service.Thank you Mike 🤙

Brilliant service by Mike getting my car fixed outside the house . Replacing the alternator was hard work due to seized bolts etc , as the vehicle is 15 years old . Mike overcame all the problems Getting the old alternator off the vehicle and attaching the new one .He worked solidly from the time he arrived regardless of the unsettled weather .Highly recommended. 👍

Driving home had a horrendous noise coming from the car engine, with warning lights flashing. I managed to nurse the car home and called Mike. He set a day and time to come and see me, arrived promptly and diagnosed the problem straight away.He is always super professional, gives great advice and gets the job done there and then.He takes the time to source parts as cheaply as he can, and his price for the job was so cheap too.I cannot recommend him highly enough. Had an engine system fault which limited acceleration. He Identified the fault as most likely being the ECU. He recommended to repair rather than replace to save cost and suggested companies to repair the unit. Refitted ECU when it had been refurbished and cleared any existing diagnostic faults. Replaced battery for new there and then. Car started straight away with no diagnostic faults. Taken for a drive with no issues. Great service and a trustworthy guy. Would recommend.

I booked Mike to change my rear wheel bearings, not realising how much trouble my car would cause! Parts were seized up meaning that a 3 hour job turned into more like 9 or 10 hours over multiple visits, which was 100% my car’s fault - not Mike’s! Despite the stubborn car he didn’t give up, and carried on working through rain and shine to get my car up and running, and was really fair with his pricing. I’d definitely recommend to anyone needing a mobile mechanic!

Had an electrics/battery/alternator problem. Rang Mike and explained what was happening. Pointed towards alternator. Mike gave estimate for changing but said if it turned out not to be alternator he would be able to return to supplier without charging me for it - only pay for actual work/repair needed - which was great to hear. Booked in and turned up on time - diagnosis was as suspected, problem was with alternator. Had bit of issue, as he had been supplied with incorrect part by his supplier, but Mike went to change and completed repair same day. Car used last two days and is great. Definitely call on again

Having an old T25, I’m used to having issues and often need assistance to resolve them.I’d initially called Mike out as fuel had dried up in the carb, due to it sitting still for 6 months-lockdown.Mike came out and resolved the issue within 30 minutes.When the starter motor finally died, I’d been hitting it with a hammer for a couple of years, we ordered a new one and again, Mike came round took out and replaced the old motor and bush.All working fine and good to have the camper working again.Quick, efficient, polite and would highly recommend.

Absolute life saver !! Got in car to a dead car, no breakdown cover and no way of getting it to a garage without expensive recovery charges. Rang Mike told him the symptoms over the phone and the diagnosis was a probable flat/dead battery. He took my details and said he would try his best to get to me the same day, even though he was already very busy with callouts. He later confirmed he would be with me that day and that he would pick up a battery to save time. He then text me when he was 10mins away, and 10mins later there he was at my door. 15 minutes later he was packing away his tools and on his way after successfully getting my car running perfectly again.I cannot fault Mike, he was friendly, professional and very quick to help me get back on the road.Extremely reasonable prices too considering he is coming to you and taking all the stress out of a potential nightmare.I would and will recommend to anyone to give him a call if they need help.

Had an emergency flat battery from leaving car lights on all night. Was really stuck and Mike came to my rescue (even though it was technically his day off!) I found Mike to be extremely accommodating, efficient, reliable and very fair on pricing. The only good thing to come out of my flat battery was finding an excellent mechanic in Mike.

Brilliant work by Mike. He succeeded in getting my 51 year old Land Rover back up and running after it had stood still for Many years, he persevered despite many challenges. Highly recommended

Can't praise Mike enough - sorted my sons car trouble within an hour after Emergency Assist failed to diagnose problem, incured hefty tow charge to replace battery which didn't fix it & still left him stranded. Luckily the spirit of Cardiff stepped up in his hour of need.

My car was off the road for many months on a driveway and seized, Mike came out and unsiezed the back breaks, fitted a new battery and a full service for a fantastic price! If you’re ever stranded or can’t get to the garage Mike is your guy!

Rough running engine in my Passat TDi.At very short notice Mike came out to me and diagnosed the problem in super quick time.Very friendly, efficient and helpful.I would highly recommend Mobile Mike.On a previous occasion he swapped a brake calliper on my father’s car, again very quick and efficient and at a really good price.
